I was tempted, but for the cash, you could just buy another Pmag and call it good.

The added length would be interesting shoot prone and where would you put it when done?  I am not aware of any carriers with the added length.

I wonder if it's reliable.

I'd rather have 2 more p-mags......

Saw that in my email from Brownells today too.

You notice they're calling it competition ready, not tactical.  It's for 3 gun, and for that it makes sense.

True!
In 3 gun (seconds count), if you can save a mag change during a stage it is a benefit.

Competition yes, actual combat hell no.

Of course 3-gun only. thats what its designed for.

I just ordered one and I'll post my results when I get it.

Shot mine in match play today. It was a long stage and needed over 30rds to complete it. The Nordic saved me a reload and worked great.

I'd rather just have another PMag attached upside down and do a quick flip and change mags.

Got it last week and actually loaded it up this morning, I'll try and test it out next week.

they are fairly common in 3-gun matches, actually. They work fine, and i've never seen one break/malf... and it's easier than slamming/carrying a Beta-c in the breech ;)

Not all ar15's are for 'tactical/SHTF/Zombie Horde' scenarios... =)

Why upside down?

Seems like these long, extra capacity magazine fads appear every four or five years.

I wouldn't carry anything more than a 30 (downloaded to 28). Ever. Never saw or used one that was reliable.

Cause right side up the first mag will be in the way

Ahhh....but you haven't tried this one.....and it will work 100% as long as your PMAG worked 100% as a 30 rounder.  :)

I dunno...adding more ammunition means more weight.  I had a redi-mag once on patrol and the rifle felt weird.  Rather have it on my person. I think there's a point where it isn't practical.

Well again, its not for patrol or field use...its for competition shooting.

"It offers the added feature of a clear bottom section to easily determine rounds left in the magazine."
