Has anyone found a handy-sized box for storing P-mags?  I'd like to find some appropriately sized rubbermaid-type water-tight plastic container if possible.  I looked around Lowe's yesterday and found some that were perfect for my M1A 20-rounders but nothing that seemed right for my AR mags.

Check out this page.  It has a pelican case setup that a guy worked out for his p-mags.  Might be a more expensive option, but its also more secure/durable

If you want something cheap- Walmart had Sterilite 20 qt, for something like 2 for $5. It hold @ 36 Pmags + another 4 laying on top.

I guess I should have specified I'm looking for storage options for my gun safe, not for the range.  Pelican's stuff is very nice but a bit bulkier than what I'm looking for.  I like the Sterilite option.  Thanks for the replies.

a 20mm can will hold about 100, 556 mags

30 cal cans work great to store 762 cal mags vertical

a fat 50 holds my loaded pmags,

The saw cans hold 30 round mags perfectly on end. I didn't see this thread before I started my own.

I believe that this is the can that most call the fat 50 can, but it is clearly not for the 50.
