Out of 10 lowers that I tested, the P-mag would not drop free from 4 of them.
Mega yes Stag yes Stag yes Sabre Defense (poly)yes Sig 556yes LWRCyes LWRCno LMT no ZM no Double Starno Aluminum USGI mags work fine in all lowers. I found a post that suggested filing off the two shims on the rear ribs of the magazine. See post here http://www.ak47.net/lite/topic.html?b=2&f=124&t=164366 I figured I would risk one mag and give it a try. Low and behold, it worked!!!!! Has anyone else tried this? Does this effect reliability in lowers where it dropped fine without the modification? |
