Recently bought a Stag model 2T. It came with a 30 round magazine fired first round but the second round jammed in the magazine. The tip of the bullet was pushed into the magazine instead of the feed ramp and chambered.
Do you think that a new spring and follower would fix this issue?

Stag has agreed to send me another mag so no problems there would just like to fix this one if possible.

and i know its not the gun i bought 2 Pmags that work just fine.

clean up your post.  namely the parts in red as I'm unable to figure out what you're trying to say.

Did you try the mag again after that malfunction?

Tried it twice. both time i guess you could say it was on the same side of the magazine that the bullet was jamming so every other round.

Since I'm assuming this is a new mag, it's possible that something is out of spec.

Possible the mag release isn't screwed in far enough and the mag is hanging slightly below where it should be?

OP, try a different magazine if you have one available.  Try and borrow one from somebody to see if the issue can be replicated with a different mag.

Well unfortunately I don't know anyone who has a AR near me.
Like i said stag is sending another magazine to me and letting me keep the one that came with the gun.

I doubt it is a gun issue. I purchased two PMAGs and they both fine no jamming issue.

As far as is the magazine new.... I would hope it is, but is a bit scuffed up possible just from being handled.

Thanks guys for the help

Doh, just realized you're a fellow Virginian. What part of VA are you in?

I'm about an hour SW of Richmond. Try stoping by the VA HTF, and maybe we can find someone who shoots/lives near you.

I've heard the best remedy for a faulty magazine is a big hammer.

If the Pmags feed and function fine, it may be "hammer time" for the Stag magazine.
