| Beta C mag 100rd drum,anyone have any experience with these ,pro's and con's .thanks |
|
I have 1, and 2 more on the way. Good just in case if you think you will ever be laying down suppressive fire with your AR and for bump firing. It has a smaller profile then a 30rd mag so it's also for prone shooting with a precision rifle if you just want to plink and not change mags for a while. I wouldn't have ordered 2 more but with oama on the ticket can't chance them being banned. If you think 90rd snail drums come even close you're wrong. I'll gladly sell you mine. |
| I bought one for 3-gunning (where allowed), and as a hedge against a future ban. I don't use it that much, as there are rarely stages where a 40 rounder or a couple of cinched 30-rounders are not enough. That said, the Beta has always run 100%. I still treat it with kid gloves, as its plastic construction is just a tad too fragile - definitely not something I would bet my life on. |
no M16's in Washington State, why wouldnt you trust it,that is the kind of info i was looking for |
Pmags are plastic also ,why wouldnt you trust it, i have the opportunity to buy a like new one for $200 |
I've got one, used it about 10 times with no issues. I do not low crawl through sand for a living so for range work they work fine. I would not drop a fully loaded one on hard surfaces, they will break. The best things about them is that a c-mag dump is fun and c-mags make liberals cry. I am thinking about buying another one, maybe in tan. www.betaco.com |
