I just bought a DPMS LR-308 and i'm looking for extra mags. Can anyone tell me what mags i can use with this weapon? Is it compatible with Ar-10, Magpul, RRA, Fal, orlite, or any other major manufacturer? I am looking mostly for 20 and 30 round mags, and the DPMS ones are very expensive.

DPMS and Knight. I believe C-products may be coming out with something in the future.

I can't find knight mfg on google.

so you're sure that ar-10 and RRA mags won't fit?

Does anyone know if there's such a thing as a universal Ar 308 mag? I can't find a 30 rd DPMS 308 mag at any price, and it would be great if i could get 2 or 3 20 round mags for under 30 bucks each.

You have 2 choices, the 19 round DMPS mags at 35-46 bucks a pop depending on who you get them from, or Knight's Armament Company mags, which IIRC have a .gov price of about 85 bucks a piece, over 100 bucks if you can find them on the civ market.

Those are your choices.  Did they not cover the SR-25/M110/Mk11 in Sniper School?

The AR10 mag will fit in the DPMS but it will NOT function.
