How long can you store loaded mags before the spring gets soft?

I dont think anyone has gotten that old yet.

If you must, the word is to get new mags, load them, store them and leave them alone.
Use the mags that have been used before to shoot with.

While it may depend on the mag, I have had 2 mags loaded 100% of the time(except while @ the range) since 1989 for my HK P7M13.  Never a failure. While I have other mags for this gun, I just wanted to see if they will ever fail. For full disclosure, I have not shot them yet this year, so maybe this will be the year  I have had to replace mag springs in some older Glock mags BTW, but they were well used w/ many load/unload cycles.
