OK. I've got lot of ammo on stripper clips. What is the fastest and least frustrating way to move the rounds from stripper clips into a magazine? 1. GI "spoon" 2. Cheaper Than Dirt stripper clip guide 3. Beta loader 4. Cammenga EasyLoader My military experience did not include the M-16, so I'm looking for solid "everyman" help. |

This lightning loader nothing is better for clips IMO and I have used damn near everything. As fas as you can slam it down. Load a mag in about 4 seconds (not including loading the strippers) The magnet is also nice. |
| I keep a spoon in each bandoleer, several extra spoons per can, and 2 beta loaders. The spoons are nice and small, very easy to carry, and dirt cheap. The beta loaders work great, but cost 10x as much as a spoon, and are bulky. The striplula looks like a nice middle ground. High initial cost, not as bulky as a beta loader, but looks easier on your thumbs than a spoon (I haven't used one yet, so it's just a guess). |
