| Does anyone have any experience of the Lancer Systems L5 magazine, currently use Magpul PMAG's, when I can get hold of them, just looking if the Lancer's offered any advantages, also I find that when I use a PMAg with more than 25 rounds in it I get the odd misfeed with the first few rounds, reload with 20 rounds and I have no problems, my PMAG's are some of the very early ones, believe that there are 2nd generations ones out now, not sure what the differences are, information sometimes doesn't make it to the UK. |

You may want to see if your PMAG bodies need to be replaced: PMAG Replacement Body I have had excellent results with PMAG's. The Lancer mags have only recently made it to the market. So, limited info on how good they are. |

Yea, I've never had problem 1 out of my PMAGS aside from an Oly that wouldn't feed the first two-three rounds reliably with the first run mags... I did like DeMarcus suggested and did the mag body replacement thingy and haven't had a problem since. Get yours changed (or would that be exchanged?) and you'll find them to be the most reliable and dependable mags you'll ever need. |
| don't even think you have to email them, there's an order page on their website where you can order replacement bodies (of course it doesn't cost anything). they ship it to you, you swap them out, throw the old ones back into the box/envelope with prepaid shipping and back it goes to them. |
| I have had LIMITED expierence with both Pmag and the L5. I have to emphasize limited, maybe 250 rounds pretty much equally between one L5 and one Pmag at a local match, plus a little more prior time with Pmags. The L5's see thru feature is good and I really like the idea of metal feed lips, but the design is basically the same as aluminum GI magazine with new material. Even though the follower is green it is not anti-tilt; think aluminum GI with black follower. The Pmag is different. The inside of the magazine fits much closer to the bullet plus there is a vertical ridge in the front that somewhat seperates the two columns in the magazine. Also the vertical ridges on the sides fit closer to the shoulder of the shell in the Pmag. It seems to keep the shells in more of a controlled position as they move up the magazine. The follower of the Pmag is definately anti-tilt, the angle of the follower does not change. At first I was skeptical of any polymer AR mag but my opinion is changing. I will be buying more Pmags. |

Here's a privious review of the Lancer L5 mag, it show's that the follower is similar to the green GI anti-tilt but is propriety for the L5. If you like a transparent mag then you might want to give the L5 a tryout! http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=17&t=364230 |
