I'm getting ready to purchase 10 magazines.  My choice is between these two:  1) D&H with Magpul anti-tilt follower, chrome silicon spring, and Magpul Ranger plate. or 2) 30 rnd Standard PMAG.  How about some advice or other suggestion?  These will be used in a Colt 6920 and 6721.

Thanks
Brad

I just made a purchase of 10 Cproducts mags and 1 pmag to try it out.  The cproducts mags work great, but Pmags are AWESOME!

You cant go wrong with USGI mags.  They are inexpensive and they are everywhere.  Replacement parts are everywhere.  They have been proven time and time again.  Any of the "gripes" made against them are lackluster and mostly hear-say.

I think it is more about what mags to stay away from than what mags are "best".

Orlites.  Thermolds.  P-Mags.  USGI.  They all make good mags.  I'd stay away from the USA mags, Pro mags, etc.  Also... do NOT spend the un-Godly high price for an over-hyped HK mag.  Bah!

Your looking for ten, then you could try this-

Buy 5 PMAGS

Buy 5 USGI - I would go with CProducts aluminum magazines with magpul  anti-tilt  followers installed standard

If not CProducts...you could go with NHMTG or D&H. They are all good magazines.

This gives you the best of both worlds and lets you make up your mind for future purchase.

I highly recommend buying from Mark at 44mag.com  great service great price and free shipping over $100 dollars.

I like and use PMAGS also. But I will not be putting all my eggs in one basket.

I'm giving PMAGS time to test out in the real world. PMAGS are out only about a year. It took MAGPUL three generations to get PMAGS right.

We all know USGI are tested. So lets give PMAGS more time in the field for testing.

I loved my HK USC
I liked the fact that my HK VP70Z was the first synthetic lower pistol in the world.

DSG Arms has some great prices on some awesome USGI mags. You should consider them for your magazine needs as well.

Mags I like the best are
My Old Colt 20rounders with Metal Followers

I like the UGGI 30`S Like OKAY,PARSON,Adventure line.

THERMOLD
Thermold strippers (I like  better than USGI)
Thermold Loaders ( loader better than SPOON)

I bought 8 D&H 20rounders CURVE TYPE
I wont do that AGAIN. I will stick with the Colt 20rd much better

If I didnt have a bunch of mags

I would try out PMAGS
I always like PLASTIC type mags ORLITE/THERMOLD etc

My opinion.

I have trouble getting Pmags in and out of some mag pouches. In my opinion they make good range mags, but not some thing I would want in a high stress situation.
CProducts does make excellent mags.

Have about 100 Okay & DH teflon coated GI mags.  Great stuff.  Just starter buying P-mags.  Really like them.  Have 30 of em and been teting 12.  I am leary simply decuase of the "dust cover."  Why???  I don't trust manufactueres.  Is it simply a novel gimic for "dust control?"  Or is it because the lips may break/crack/wear.....whatever.  Time will tell.

I cam say 6.8 C-products mags began needing feed lip adjustments and they quickly fixed that issue.  I would imagine if they can respond that quickly to a new platform their 5.56 must be good.

UPS man just brought me 10 D&H USGI mags and 8 CProducts mags with Magpul followers. Got them from 44MAG.com. The CProducts are nice. The D&H mags are really nice. I'm actually probably going to take the Magpul followers I got in the CProducts mags and stick them in the D&H mags.

PMags...I might grab a couple but I like to stick with the tried and true.

No Don't do it

Keep the MAGPUL Anti-tilts in your CProducts.

Buy 10 extra MAGPUL anti-tilts and put them in you D&H magazines.

Or next time buy all CProducts. They come standard with MAGPUL Anti-tilts.
