PMAG Question??

Yes I’m a noobee to the AR-15’s

There was a post here about the PMAG’s and how to tell which generation they are.  I bought 4 today at a gun show in Florida.  All 4 Mags had the right outside markings for the Gen II, so I thought “I’m go to go”.  I paid the man and was on way, when I got home I took them apart and no orange paint on the spring.  Is this a big deal?

I’m sure it would be a good idea to test all 4 mags at the range, however is there a need to fill each one up with 30 rounds or will 15 rounds in each be just fine.  My other option is to fill 2 with rounds each this time and next time fill the other two.

I can’t believe I’ve had my RRA for 2 weeks and not one round yet.  I have enjoyed reading all the advice and input from this community.

Thanks
Mark

Orange springs were only on the first batch. Marked springs are only on the window mags now. Do not worry what mags you have as we will upgrade them at no cost for the forseeable future.
