[ARCHIVED THREAD] - black-green follower

I have a Center mag that I thought to be equipped with a standard black follower.
However, when I disassembled it to clean it up, I noticed that the follower design was
identical to the green followers, except it was black. Was this some type of
transitional follower? I have never seen a black follower that is identical to a green one.

follower in question in the middle
green follower on right

Edited to add- you really need to try the "pick-a-size" roll paper towels- they're the cat's behind!

No, it's just another black follower. Green followers aren't anti-tilt anymore. All the hype from 2002-2003 apparently was for naught

FWIW steel SA80 mags I purchased back in '03 came with black followers that were identical to USGI green followers.
