[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Problem with 20rd NHMGT Mag?

Hi,

I have 2 new 20rd NHMGT mags that will NOT fit my Superior Arms lowers or my Armalite 180B. They do however fit in my 2 RRA. They are too wide in the front (the part closet to the handguard) to fit in the other lowers.

Is anyone else having this problem? I will try to post pics later.

All of mine fit nice and drop free in my Bushy.

All of mine (4) have worked great in my RRA, Bushy, and S&W (CMT/Stag)

Coincidentally, I received 8 NHMTG 20 rd mags today....

7 of 8 drop free from my Superior lower. The 8th releases and drops about an inch, but remains in the magwell.

8 of 8 drop free from my Stag lower.

I do not see an obvious difference between the one mag that won't drop and the ones that do. I haven't worked it yet, but I suspect it can be made to drop free as its almost there...

The mags drop free from my 2 RRA and from my CMMG. Also, my 30rds NHMGT drop free from the Superior Arms lowers.

I have 2 that fit superior arms fine but one will not fit well in my colt

. go figure?
