helllo all i have a 16" bushmaster carbine and bought some aftermarket 30rd mags that have "DCS .223 cal/5.56mm Winchester, KY and some "kind or bird" samped on it, the problemi have is that on 2 of the mag the right feed lip is too low and is causing the round to not feedup the feed ramp and getting stuck below the ramp. Is there anything i can do to fix this problem or should i just invest in better mags, Also the don'thave the green follower the have a grey follower, dunno if that makes a difference. Thanks, Josh

I'm not familiar with that brand, however...

Quality magazines are cheap, and "fixed" magazines are seldom very satisfactory.  For starters, your confidence in the reliability of the magazine will forever be compromised.

I'd suggest tossing it.

I've bought two different types of mags from Double Star.
The ones with the green follower were made by D&H.
The ones with the gray follower were made by C Products LLC.
I'm surprised you'd have trouble with either one.

I'd send it back and get a replacement. CProducts make great mags and they stand behind them. But as with anything, you'll occasionally get a bad one. But those mags are as good as anything else in general.

That could work if he had CP mags.
