If you order them, they will come.

Right?

Maybe I shouldn't have gone with the teflon and the marlube.

Come today, brown truck; I need to fill magazines.

Yeah I ordered some mags from C-Products a while back.  Awsome mags great black mar finish on them.  But it took after they shipped 8-9 days to reach me.  Hope you won't have to wait on top of the wait.

-Martin

Edit:  My order page was never updated with a tracking #.  So I hope they will contact you.  Best thing I could say it forget about them.  When you get them be happy.

The mar-lube line will be run on Tuesday. ALL mar-lube orders will be shipped Wednesday and Thursday. Sorry for the delay.

With all due respect Larry (sincerely), when the 2-week-since-order mark had past, I called and was told 3-4 days.  The next time I called (a week ago) I was told 3-4 days and now you're STILL saying 3-4 days.  I hope THIS time you're right.

All of this could've been avoided by either putting a note on the site about potentially long lead times, or better, NOT listing the item for sale until it actually was available.

Respectfully,

3-4 days huh?

When I called in my order I was told 3-4 weeks so I think something with this process was fixed.

Ed, I totally agree with what you are saying. No excuse but we normally plan a day or 2 to run the mar-lube and then switch back to moly. It takes a half a day to change over. If an "agency" comes with a special request for moly while we are running moly then we run moly. Then we plan another day for mar-lube. While that may be happening you call and our decsion to run the moly has not been relayed to the sales office he tells you one thing and we've decided to go another direction. Our communication is something we are working on.
Product becomes unavailable so fast sometimes we don't have time to change our web before orders have been placed.
Our goal is to be able to ship an order within 5 working days. We used to ship within 2 working days but we are at a point now where that is not possible.
All of these problems are being worked on daily to improve. My days lately are meeting after meeting to correct some of what you are addressing.
Please be patient, we'll get better.

this is in no way a complaint about the wait, i can wait. but i am worried that my package might have been taken before i get home from work as i am not home on some days till 9 pm. my card was billed around 2 weeks ago but the brown truck has not yet left any early christmas presents...
again, im not complaining, im just concerned that the 1800 dryclean tools who always leave stuff on my door might have decided they want an early christmas present too...
thanks

If you are talking about the GB, I seem to remember everyone being notified that it might take longer than usual due to the high orders.  If I remember correctly I thiink the only time frame that was given was before christmas.

I haven't a clue when my GB mags will show up.  Don't care, either.  I bought because CP is the only manufacturer that comes on this site to talk with the end-users.

If it takes 8 weeks before they even think about running the black teflon, so be it.  I don't have any pressing need, though I would certainly celebrate the day that box arrives.

Merry Christmas, Larry.

I ordered teflon SS and teflon aluminum in the GB from 44mag.  I don't mind waiting, as long as TS doesn't HTF between now and Christmas!

Got in on the group buy.  Bought some of the gray teflon mags w/magpul followers.

Still waiting.

No big deal.

Bought the mags in anticipation of getting an AR at tax refund time.  I only have a new Stag lower right now.  No upper.

I'll be waiting with the rest of you for my order of Teflon Mags. I ordered the Black Teflon Mag Bodies. I'm in no hurry for them I have plenty of mags to make do until they come. I still think the best deal going is the 3 pack of the Magpul's , Springs, and Plate for $6.50. You can't beat that deal!

+1.  Same here.  Everyone who ordered was told to expect backorders as long as 5 weeks for some mags so I don't see why anyone is calling yet, much less whining about it.  Give it a chance.  CP can't crank out 30,000 mags over night.

Larry,
Thank you for your candid reply.  I'm the GM for a small manufacturing company and I completely understand the frustration of trying to keep EVERYBODY happy all of the time!  Makes you wonder why you ever got into this game in the first place, doesn't it?

Unexpectedly today the UPS guy delivered my order, thanks! I WILL be ordering more.

Everybody else:  This order was placed WELL before the group buy.

AS far as i recall there was no guarantee on next day shipment or even next week shipment.  If i get them before the new year i will be very happy.  30,000 mags is a lot of mags to sell and also ship.  THEY WILL COME, IF THEY DONT JUST REQUEST A REFUND A ORDER THEM AFTER ALL THE GROUP BUY ORDERS HAVE GONE OUT.

Larry,

Is 30,000 your final count for orders placed to C Products or is that the final number for the group buy?

I purposly placed my order the last day for black teflon in hopes that it would take a while!  Funds are a little tight and all...    I didn't really NEED more AR mags as I have a stack of new D&H but I thought I would give C Products a try......

That is the amount that was placed with 44, Copes and C Products. When the numbers are finalized it will be in the mid 30's. Trust me, that's a lot of mags in 5 days! Thanks again to everyone for their support.

Reading all this makes me really glad I bought a ton of CProducts mags from Global Tactical the day after the election.  Of course I got a lot of nonsensical advice in here about "don't panic buy, there is no ban imminent".  Well, I've been using my mags for over a month now!

A few months before that I bought a ton of D&H black teflon coated mags from 44mag.com.  From what I understand the prices I paid for all these mags was pretty close to the group buy pricing, if not the same.

The group buy sounded great, but I won't wait weeks and weeks for mags just to save a few cents.
