[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Dependable Mags

I am a new owner of a Colt AR-15 w/ a registered reciever. The lower is actually stamped "M16A2" When I bought it I received 4 mags and I want tyo buy a few more.
Which maker of mags are dependable and is there a difference between AR15 & M16 mags??
I also have a large pivot pin hole and the screwed-in pin keeps un-screwing when it's fired. Is there a better system (pin) that I can use to eliminate the problem.hinking.gif

There is a Magazine forum with all kinds of info.

I use D and H purchased from 44mag dot com, along with older Adventureline and Colt mags.

Look for USGI in the EE! There have been a bunch of NIW(New In Wrap) Center. and
Okay mags floating around for $10each or less!
