Can anyone tell me if these mags are worth buying?

absolutely not

promag can make a few quality items.

their magazines are not one of them

eta: stick with NHMTG, CProducts, D&H (have had some QC problems recently), HK (pretty expensive). All should work well for you.

.223 or 9mm?

I have had good luck with the 9mm promags in my RRA. I have never tried one of their .223 mags though.
