| Just got the SS mags today and I am suprised at the weight. At first I thought they were Al mags because of the weight but side by side with the Al they are heavier. I bought some of the Radaway steel mags a year ago and those suckers are heavy!. I am pleased with the weight of the CP SS mags. I haven't used them yet so I can't talk performance but up against the one HK mag I have they look great. I like the follower in the CP mag better than the one in the HK mag. I tried the fit in both Kel-Tecs, the RRA, the Colt, the Armalite and the AR-180B and there were no problems. My Armalite is notorious for mag fit issues but no problems with the CP SS mags (of the 4 CP 20 rounders I bought one of the four would not fit in the Armalite). The only problem I had was the packaging form CT. They came in a padded envelope but it had busted open during shipment and Fed Ex taped it back together. Please don't get me wrong I appreciate the free shipping so its not a bitch its just a comment. I will be looking forward to the Mini-14 mags but don't forget us M1A people.
