| Anyone try these yet?? If so how are they?? |
| Reports from the 3 gunning guys that some works perfectly, others didn't because of the welding slags left behind during assembly process. The only reason for the stick mag at this cappacity is mono podding during a course of fire. For almost $90 a pop, you might want to save up and get a Beta C or find a Sterling 40 rds. |

Pointless, expensive, waste of time. Why? 1)It's "cheapo" engineering at it's finest, two welded mag bodies. Not worth $90 a)Anyone who is competent and mechanically inclined could do this easily 2)Even if it does work see above Did I mention it's two mag bodies welded together? Come on, $90? For that!? It's only 15 more rounds. Try shooting prone with it, 30s already hit the ground, imagine that thing. The size, it looks quite a bit larger than a std 30. So you carry a magazine that won't fit in a USGI mag pouch(don't know about you folks but when I am shooting it is much easier to use 2 or 3 mag pouches when standing all day), heavier, possibly sacrifice reliability(not talking combat, never been there and don't wanna be, just general shooting I get thoroughly pissed when a mag doesn't work) for only 15 more rounds. Another gimmick that needs to die. If 30s aren't enough and you want something to blast away with get a beta or something similar. DPMS if you read this, don't pass off some back yard gunsmith stuff as high quality/innovative and try to sell it for $90. Dremel, two mag bodies, follower, find the spring or make it if you know how, |
