| I've recently bought an AR for plinking and target shooting. I've got a few bucks to spare and was thinking about picking one up for giggles. How's the reliability/rigidity on it? Anyone here use them and what do you think of them? If it's not that rigid I'd rather not drop 200 bucks on it only to have it break on me later. |
| My plan at the moment is geared toward a dozen 30 rounders and a dozen 20 rounders. I would usually go all for 30 rounders but some people have said it affects use of a bipod. What I've read on this board a few times is the 30 rounders are a tad too long for optimum use of a bipod. |

imo the 20rd straight mags with the alloy follower are the best feeding out the box most ammo boxes come packed with 20rds. of the bi-pod the 20 works good. if you dont feel the need than by all means buy the 30's, it will leave more for the others that want them

Here is a link to a guy doing a Beta dump, and then letting it drop to the ground! ---click on the pic in the middle that says 10.5" CQB 220 rd. dump--- www.jnrifleworks.com/cgi-bin/cart2/display.cgi?cat1=11 and this is the original thread it came from: www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=14&t=249482 |

With three 5.56 Betas and two 9mm Colt Betas they are fun for a 99 round dump in my M16. I got two of the 5.56 mags used from guys with semi autos that were board with them. There is a certain "coolness" factor. I my opinion with a semi auto I would put that money toward buying an EOTech HALO sight. I have three of them. They work very well. I can shoot with both eyes open. The best thing about it is, instead of focusing on the front sight, with the target in the background, I focus on the target. Just look at the target, put the dot on it and squeeze the trigger. Just my $.02 worth. Scott |
he does but the video stops there
