I have 5 - 30 round mags now that, while working flawlessly in my RRA, don't fit right [don't drop free] in my OLY. One is an adventure line, and 4 are British [supposedly] with no markings on them whatsoever. Is there really a difference in magwells between brands [RRA vs OLY]? If I sell these should I include a disclaimer of some type? Are there any AR "magsmiths" like the guys that tune hi-cap- IPSC mags? |
| Older Olympic Arms AR's have known mag well issues. I have three Oly's and a PWA and everything fits and drops free in the PWA. Only one of my Oly's has a real problem and I use that one for my competition rifle with 20 round magazines selected specifically for that lower. I don't know af anyone who 'tunes' AR magazines. |
