I've got a decent stock of LaBelles but I'm looking for a project and have decided to build some "improved" AR mags. My plan is this, please add any comments, criticisms, or suggestions that you have: steel SA-80 mag bodies (I figure that they'll be less prone to bending than aluminum mags when dropped, etc.) coating of above with a high-quality finish- any recommendations? I have an airbrush and have done quite a bit of metal refinishing in the past. Wolff springs Magpul followers and floorplates. Fire away, thanks for the help. |
