| Is it just me or does anyone else love to collect magazines and just keep buying them even when you dont need anymore |
|
It's an AR-15 right? Seems pretty intuative..... 15 mags for the range, 15 mags for checking action, 15 mags for varminting, 15 mags for long term storage, 15 mags in case they stop making 'em, 15 mags for home defense, 15 mags for zombies, 15 mags if SHTF, 15 mags "just in case", ..... Okay rifle #1 covered. Now lets talk about # 2..... ![]() ![]() ![]() M590man |
| I'm up to 31 20-rounders and 32 30-rounders. I'll buy one to five magazines every gun show when I can find a good deal. Just got three more 30-rounders this weekend for $10 each. Finish is only about 10-20%, one had a green follower but all had solid tabs and perfect feed lips. I don't think I'll ever stop buying magazines. |
you are correct there my friend, i just bought a lot of 36, 20's & by damn if there weren't about 6 of those mags that look new, there is no mag well scratches on them & the followers have no marks on them at all.., ooooooh, i forgot, i have 7 brand new Adventure Lines in the box. |
|
I have something like 25 of the 30-rounders. Honestly, that is far more than I "need" but about as many as I want. I have most of them loaded up with XM193 and in a handy shoulder-bag. But really, I only use a few of those 25 mags. I think that the mag whores...you know who you are....("hundreds of mags are not enough")....well you guys are just plain and simply nucking futts. I mean, you would be a hell of a lot smarter to buy and horde gold instead of AR mags.... But Nucking Futts is as Nucking Futts does....and it's all relative. Bottom line #1 is that I am glad that we can own them, and bottom line #2 is..........the decision is ours to make!! Yipeee! h.gif |

Megistopoda, You need to read more about how our "elected officals" are trying to ban ARs. It is very realistic that civilian ownership of ARs is drawing to a near. Do you really thing that 25 mags is a lifetime supply - when (not if) the law states that civilains can no longer purchase or otherwise transfer ownership of AR magazines ???? Please lurk over here (link below) for a while. No flame friend, just mean to help to "open your eyes" www.awbansunset.com/forums |

I have (42) USGI 30rds (13) Thermolds 30rds (10) Orlites 30rds (5) Thermold 20rds I have (3) AR's, and I don't feel like that's near enuff mags.......or AR's! I'd like to buy 20-30 more USGI 30rds after the AWB sunsets! I can't control myself when it comes to mags, I've got 56 Glock mags! teamroper2004 |

I bought my first AR15 mags 3 month ago. Due to importing costs I bought 20 mags at once with the intention to sell 10 and make some money but ... arghhh ... somehow I can't bring myself to sell even one mag!!! And to make it worse, I think about buying another 20 ... |
This is my experience EXACTLY Obviously a sickness. The word "addiction" can't begin to cover this heartbreaking disease |
|
Can never have to many. I only have 10 30 rounders and 3 20 rounders - 13 mags. ACK! Thats an unlucky number. I better buy, oh, 20 more? My problem is I'm also supporting a Glock full cap and M1A full cap habit... and Paras... It gets pretty bad, especially when you have traded actual functioning firearms for magazines. |
WOW. I think that almost qualifies as "rock bottom" bro. When you catch yourself selling your body for mags, seek professional help.
Ok, make that 18 30-rounders. I've graduated to magaholic gonnabe! |
Dont feel bad I once traded a Charels Daley POS Shotgun for 1 AR15 mag the gun was a POS and the mag was a very nice Labelle, I have to say I have had more fun with that mag then the POS shotgun that I just wanted to destroy |
Where did you buy those at? |
