[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Magazine Question

I purchased an O-Kay new in the wrapper magazine today and the store had some other brands by the name of Parsons. Is the O-Kay and Parsons a good quality. They had a Mil-B-117 specification and the plastic.

There were two more, with no lables, but also having the Mil Spec Mil-B-117 on the packaging. Can I assume, even without lables or a blank floor plate these are USGI and are worth the $18 price. All were new in wrapper. BTW, the Parsons had 1987 date on them and all are 30 rounders.

O-Kay and Parsons are both good quality USGI magazines. You can't really go wrong with any USGI mags.

Just dont buy anything like USA brand, Pro Mag, Westec Metal, Western Metal its all crap.

Always buy USGI, or Orlites and thermolds or even the British Steel Mags. Stick with those and you wont be disappointed.

I went an picked up two more today, one was a Parson Mafg and the other was DPMS.

Troy's Mag FAQ at the top of the board lists all the USGI manufacturers. Good reference material.
