If I get a AR15 .223 Beta mag, can I swap out the feed tower to fit an HK33/53?  Seems like it would be "do-able", or at least a great idea, but I don't know much about the c-mags.

thanks for any help, gang.

Physically, yes, it could be done.  Legally?  No.  Because the modified mag would no longer fit and function in an AR, changing the feed tower would be "creating a new hi-cap mag" under the AW Ban.

Ask again on Sept 13...  [:)]

i didn't think of that.  would it still be illegal if the mag had the LEO/Resyricted stamp?  That would be the one I'd get.  Probably still won't work.  Sounds to good to be true-A beta mag for 2 guns!

If you're legal to possess LEO mags, then yes, you can reconfigure it with an HK feed tower.

If you're not an FFL, just LEO, you can't do it unless the mag in its HK configuration is for duty use.

i'm LEO only, no FFL.  I have an AR,AK, and soon to have HK33 all for duty use.  Just trying to work out a legal way to have a beta for the AR and the HK
