I am looking for a 30 round Ciener clip for my AR-15. Can anyone help me out? Thanks |
| 30 round Ciener mags are running in the $150-$175 range... if you can find them. You might want to wait and see what happens with the '94 SAW ban. If it is allowed to sunset and congress doesn't pass the proposed even stricter bill, Ciener will start making them again and should be selling them in the $30-$40 range. |

Quoted: And if the ban doesn't go away they will suddenly be $300-350. I would hedge my bets and get one or two now and stock up later if the ban goes away. So, you'll give me $350 a piece for my 7 in 4 months from now when they have to extend the ban? SOLD!!! You can have my Beta-C for the bargain basement price of $1500 too. [}:D] |

No fight intended. I was saying that, tongue-in-cheek. I believe those increases were due to the market scrambling after the seemingly endless supply from JAC suddenly dried up. Look at Colt 9mm mags. Sure they jumped after on-shelf supplies dried up, but they haven't jumped that much in the 6 years since I bought my 1st. I paid about $90-$100 back then. Now they can be had for $100-$125. |

Quoted: I too am looking for a couple of 30 round Ciener clips for my AR15. I can't find any for any price. What about the ban you are talking about. When does it expire? The ban is due to sunset Sept. '04 but I believe Congress must act on extending it by Sept. '03. I've seen some for sale recently on the Under $500 Free Ad Board on subguns.com: http://subguns.biggerhammer.net/under500.cgi |
| Personally, I simply can't justify close to $200 for a 30rd .22LR magazine. It's not like you'll be using it to ward off the masses during an uprising or anything. I'll stick to the 10rd mags...until the ban is lifted and they become more realistically priced. [;)] |
