Ive looked over your FAQ on AR mags. Now a question about the Universal ... Simmonds, 20 round mags. Are they any good ? Any potential problems ? I have a line on some at an attractive price and would like to know more on these

Both are standard USGI mags and have no common problems. The only USGI mag maker that had known problems was Cooper.

Coopers with 3 spot welds had problems. Any with 6 are fine.
Note Cooper 3 weld magazine bodies can have Colt's floor plates.........
