In the October issue of Small Arms Review, Surplus International has these for sale on page 77 for $40 each.

Yes, I am aware of the discussions below, but I don't see this particular supplier mentioned. Anyone with experience before I lay down the bucks?

$40 for a BRITISH mag?!?! Remember that Radway Green ammo or the gun its meant for? I wouldn't trust ANYTHING from the Brits when it comes to small arms. Take that $40 and buy two USGI mags, its money better spent.

The mags above are different than the other mags we've recently been discussing. (I'm not sure whether they were an early or later design, Troy will know.) The other English/British steel mags that have hit the market are certainly the better buy. They're design is a conventional USGI style and are a good find for $20 or less.

The mags pictured above are the ones that are famous for causing problems for the Brits. Unlike the other Brit mags, I would avoid these mags, except perhaps to add one to a mag collection.
