Well done as usual.
I think Kent suggested that the double crimped 7,9 rounds were specifically for use in a remote gun pod that was pneumatically charged/cleared/ recharged, not mg81 in general. I expected the Jap low recoil round to have a reduced powder charge or something... Not a cartridge that one sees very often... Cool, 1DD |

Just got Kents book in English, haven't made it that far yet. Saw the German version, didn't look that interesting. Different story now. This was Jack Wells last round to me!
HSM only sells the Light Armor Piercing round (127 + 150 grain and several other calibers) only to Law Enforcement, no military or civilian sales. It would be more like the M855A1 which also has an exposed hardened tip penetrator, not the M855. Better because of its solid brass body. They also have a couple other cool rounds that are LE only, like thier Glass Penetrator. |
