Hello all.
I am wondering if Magtech commercial 223 is mildly corrosive??? I shoot quite a bit, all calibers, ammo, handloads, etc. I have a cz527 in 223 that I shot on 2 recent occasions...Both times I didnt get a chance to clean until following day, then I noticed rust in the bore. Weather had not been humid or hot..(OCT-NOV).... I've never had this issue before except with old surplus in K98..... Any similar thoughts or experiences? I have not shot this Magtech in any other firearm as yet. |

My limited experience with Magtech has not shown any signs of corrosive primers.
All the Magtech I have shot has been with chromed barrel and chamber..Does your CZ have a chromed barrel? But maybe they had a few batches manufactured using old primers.. Give Magtech a call 800 466-7191 |
