I cannot believe searching  for  "Perfecta" showed nothing......

Anyway, I was at Walmart last night and saw Perfecta 223 Rem ammo in a 50 round box for $19. It looked good: brass case, 55 FMJ bullet, non-corrosive. Appears to be Italian made. I picked up 50 rounds on a whim to try. I have around 1.5k rounds of mainly Fed AE and PMC at home (I'm on an extended vacation right now). At $19 for 50 rounds the price isn't that good, but I figured if it shot okay I could probably find it in bulk somewhere and get the price closer to $300/10000 rounds where the Fed and PMC are maybe $50 higher per 1000.

Anyone shot this stuff? I'm not expected 1 moa, but then I do not require that from the ammo used in my rifles for which it's intended. I only hope it's okay from a safety and reliability standpoint and prints 3 moa or so...........

Thanks for your replies.

Used to be called TulAmmo BrassMaxx.  Dist by Tula, made by Fiocchi.  Decent stuff, but the ZQi 30 round boxes of 5.56 62gn steel core are cheaper at $10/box.  I switched to buying those when I'm at the store.  Tho I have really slowed down my ammo buying over the last few months.

Get PQI 5.56, it's $9.97 for a box of 30. Brass case, boxer primed m855 NATO spec.

Yup, I've started buying ZQI. It's cheap for brass and seems to be pretty decent stuff. IIRC it's basically xm855 made by MKE.

Local Walmarts still have Tula from time to time. Got some yesterday.
.223, 9mm and .45acp
I buy some whenever I see it to use for winter shooting when snow is on the ground and looking for brass is impossible.
I wonder just how much Russian ammo is still in the pipeline.
