the reviews on the poly seem to be good. The gumming I have read on other sites that it was only with the lacquer. The poly is not supposed to have that issue. Ahhhh, that's right, I do remember reading that, got the poly and lacquer mixed up. I don't shoot much of cheap stuff in my ARs, mostly low end brass (PMC) but the Silver Bear I have is surprisingly decent and not too awful dirty. |

I'm fairly certain that is a myth. The lacquer does not come off of the case. It is the fouling of the chamber due to gas escape and powder residue as steel does not expand to fill the chamber as tightly as brass.
