So is it normal for a bcm mid length to put very tiny dings in SOME of the 556 casings? i know i worry a lot..are bcms overgassed? i hear it is normal for brass to eject to the 2-4 o'clock with 556?

You are going to have some dings in cases from a semi-auto rifle. Don't worry. Shoot your rifle and enjoy it. Also, don't be concerned with ejection.

Dings in the brass are normal. Don't worry about it.

Until bolt speed gets too excessive.  Then you get bolt overs, etc... the mag can't keep up.

This BCM sounds just fine though.
