Can Golden Bear Ammo (brass plated steel case) be reloaded? If not, is it a steel issue or a primer issue, or maybe both? Tnx

It depends on which caliber you're interested in reloading.  Primers for .308, 7.62x39, and for 7.62x54R are available.  Not for .223 though.

Some of the newer .223 steel cased stuff is boxer primed... I've reloaded a bunch of Wolf poly steel cases. They use standard small rifle primers...

Any Berdan case can be reloaded if you can get the primers, it's just a more involved process to get the fired primer out. Also, the internal anvil can get deformed after a few firings/reloads and then you get unreliable ignition.

i'm on the 4th reload of tula boxer primed steel case, no split necks yet.
very necessary to chamber inside neck for seating, otherwise steel neck will scrape off bullet jacket.
standard load for 55 or 69 gr nosler and varget or cfe.
i shoot lapua match brass and tula, a difference in moa - maybe.

Golden Bear is ALL Berdan primed, so unless there is suddenly a huge supply of the appropriate primers, their .223 is really [u]not[/] reloadable.

The only "good" thing to me about TulAmmo (and the old Tula-produced Wolf), is that some of their calibers are loaded with Boxer primed steel cases.  So far as I can tell, this is their .223, their .45ACP, and their .40 S&W.  Definitely NOT their 9mm, and of course none of the ComBloc rounds.
