My father in law recently passed, and my mother in law "wanted all the damned ammuntion out of the house."  Me being the family gun nut, I got all of the ammo.  I have ID'd most of it.  There is one that I have not been able to ID.

It is 223 and it has a crimped primer.  The head stamp has a "13" at the twelve o'clock position and a "98" at the six o'clock position (or vice versa, not sure).

Anyway, any help with it would be appreciated.  Most notably I would like to know if it is corrosive or not.

Thanks.

South African, 1=Ball, 3=3rd model, 1998 production

It was billed as N/C, but (personally) I never verified that

Shouldn't be corrosive, but will probably be berdan primed.

I have some thats 84 over 13 I got in some mixed brass and its hell on the reloading operation.

Yep, I have broken a primer punch or eight on some 308 brass that I bought from a supplier that was supposedly all boxer primed.
