I'm thinking of taking up a new hobby. Any suggestions on a good book/manual to get me started on reloading 5.56 ammunition? I'm not too worried about what brand i would like to reload, i'll probably make that decision based on what you guys say. I also want to start by reloading only for plinking. Any advice will help. Thanks.

I use a Lee classic turret press.  I also use their manual for the how to but the individual power manufacturers advice for loads.  I was told read everything I can out of the books, ignore internet advice, and always start at the very low end of the power chart.  10 years later and I have so many rounds loaded in 45, 9mm, and .308 that i need another closet to store it all.  Im getting ready to start 223 loading as well.  Always keep your loading bench spotless, always clean up any spilled powder immediatly, always wear safety glasses, Get a good dial caliper, a good powder measurer and a dedicated desk to mount it all.

Thanks for your reply. Another question that comes to mind, which will probably get answered in literature, is would it be better to start reloading handgun or rifle rounds?
