Around 20 years ago I bought some.  Have two plus cans left.  Stamped IVI '85, NATO icon.  600 rds/can.  Stuff's on stripper clips in cardboard boxes, in bandoleers.  Cans are labeled C-77, lot dates to '85.

What I know:  http://www.gd-otscanada.com/imports/pdf/en/fiche_technique1.pdf     I also gather it wasn't as plentiful when available as SA or Radway.

I'd like to know if/how well it holds up over time, if it now is having any issues so I can decide whether to keep it vs blast away.  I couldn't find anything in the tacked thread/FAQ section, and not much beyond the above link from my friend, google.  So wondering if any ammo forum readers can help.

TIA,  Sam

IVI is good stuff, I would not worry. I would sell it if you need/want blaster ammo that is recent manufacture.

C77 is the Canadian m855 packed in the best plastic strippers that ever was. Is this what you have? Should be gtg providing storage was cool dry and in original ammo cans.

Thanks guys!  Appreciate the input.  Those plastic clips are definitely slick.  So stuff's keeper-grade.  Wish I had more.  (think that's a rule on arfcom).  Sam

It will hold up as well as any other surplus 5.56 if stored right. It was good stuff, not nearly enough of it though.

Thought I'd follow up with a crude range report.  Tried some in the K2:  12X optic, less than 5 mph wind, rested, 80 deg.  Forgot to bring the Chrony.  Zero malfs/20 rds.  Anyway, the K2 has a 1:7ish twist.  I figured the 2 MOA SA M-193 accuracy was about it.  But this stuff put 3 into 1" or less @ 100yds three consecutive tries (I was adjusting POI, as it doesn't print M855 same place as M193).  This is my mostly-for-coyotes/ready-by-the-door-for-whatever gun, so will keep the mags loaded with this stuff.  Sam
