Thought I saw something on here about this before but couldn't find it in a search.
Anyone have any experiences with this? Is this the re-branded Sliver bear. |

Quoted:
MFS is Hungarian, not re-badged Silver Bear AFAIK. I have MFS from PSA, it is Russian. It's stamped right on the box. It's made by a Russian plant in Russia for MFS, which is in Hungary. It's Silver Bear under another name. And shoots excellently out of my AR. |

I am not at the house , But I am pretty sure the MFS ammo I have in .45 is made in Hungary I've not seen any other MFS in person besides the .223 I bought from PSA and it says made in Russia on the box, I wondered if they actually made anything in Hungary or just imported. Is the .45 steel cased too? |

Quoted: I have posted about this before, but I think the early stuff were components from russia assembled in Hungary by MFS, imported by RUAG (boxes were not marked w/ production information. There are a lot of similarities with the SB but now they have switched to the MFS headstamps and standardized the box, earlier it was the SB cases with the same plant marks. I also have two separate emails from the company saying its produced in hungary (old email) and now a new on that says its made in russia couple weeks agoQuoted: Quoted: Quoted: MFS is Hungarian, not re-badged Silver Bear AFAIK. The last part of the puzzle is that if you search for MFS 2000, you get the hungarian company (see you tube videos), and with just MFS you get the russian stuff, probably MFS out sourced to russia "Ammunition manufacturing in MFS 2000 Magyar Lőszergyártó in Sirok, Hungary" "From famed Hungarian loader MFS 2000™" The boxes can have a blue band or a red one, but I dont know if it means anything |
