I ordered a case last Thursday but haven't seen any status update yet.  Their site does say 8-10 business days for order processing though.  If they were selling hundreds of cases per day they probably have a major backlog of orders.  I also made sure to send my ID scan right after I placed the order since this was my first order from them.  It would be nice to have this in time for my next range trip.

They charged my cc from last friday's order. The website always shows your order as processing. Even my orders from years back say "processing"

Did they just slap a UPS label on the box and ship it?  I always prefer "discrete packaging", so the nosy neighbors and UPS guy don't know what I'm getting, but when I order cases it's always out there for the whole world to see...

All mine had was the "orm-d" label/decal, I guess that could be an indicator of several things.

I ordered my case of 1200 rds of IMI 855 a couple or three Sundays ago.  The next day, they were sold out.  Man, am I glad I did!!

Today, my ammo arrived.  It had to be some of the last in the warehouse.
Sweet!!

I don't know if Widener's will get anymore...I sure hope so, as well and the M193 stuff.
I found some other link where the same case of IMI was being so for $550.00!  Get the hell outa here....yeah, right!  Things aren't THAT freaking bad YET!
This shit I'm stashing till after the elections!  Know what I mean Vern?

Well, happy shooting guys!  And have a great Happy Easter weekend, if I may say so.
And God Bless America!

Anytime, anywhere you order ammunition and have it shipped, the packages will be labeled ORM-D. It stands for Other Regulated Materials - Domestic. There may be another label indicating small arms ammunition, but ORM-D by itself is indicative of several kinds of hazardous materials, not just ammunition.

I just got my case in today.  Ordered on 3/22.

The case itself came inside another box (sized perfectly to fit) and had the typical "ORM-D Cartridges, Small Arms" stamped on it.  This is unlike the cases of PMC I bought from Natchez which were just the base case with a shipping label slapped on it.  The IMI case would be fairly inconspicuous from a distance.  Also I believe Wideners required signature to accept delivery (when I've ordered from other sources like CTD, Natchez and SGAmmo they just left it at the door but I had to sign this time)

I am going to take a few boxes of this to the range on Sunday so I can find out how it shoots

Ordered my M855 on 3/24 and got it Thursday.  I purchased the IMI193 last year after seeing it mentioned here and it's great ammo, you'll like it. Wish I knew people were going to horde and panic buy or I would have bought more but I had to purchase a new vehicle so ammo wasn't the priority at the time.

You could get a private mailbox at a place like Mailboxes Etc, in the next town over if you are concerned.  I have most of my mail/packages delivered that way, though it isn't in another town.

Don't worry about it. Us delivery guys know pretty much what and where people get things. My customers trust me so much... How much? Enough that people give me their cell phone number to call them when stuff comes in so their neighbors don't see what they get. Yes they take very good care of me at Christmas time.

I took a few boxes of M855 to the range today.  Seems to be really nice stuff.  Definitely the best groups I've had since I got my first AR about 2 months ago (going through 16" 1/9 DTI barrel) even though it was very windy at the range.  Can't say anything about reliability but I would be very surprised if this stuff caused a malfunciton..

IMI is the best M855 out there IMHO. I've shot quite a bit of it, and it's a soild performer. Stuff is accurate too; and accurate and M855 don't really belong in the same sentence.

I'm sad it's dried up, as I wanted to order a few more cases. I love this stuff so much, I wish someone would get components in, as in pulled SS109 projectiles from IMI. That way, I can reload all my IMI brass

I was reluctant to order the IMI M855 at first due to reading about the poor accuracy of 855 in general, but when I read the post by Molon (here) I decided to grab one before they were all gone.  I'm glad I did I may not shoot this every time I go to the range, especially if I'm only shooting at 50 yards and/or without bench rest, but it will be nice to have when I want something that is good quality.

That's the same thread that got me to buy some, that and the fact that at the time, it was the cheapest quality M855 you could buy; cheapest and the best, two things I wish you saw together more often.

My case came in yesterday.

While I'm quite happy with the way it was shipped (the case was placed in a shipping box), I'm rather annoyed that one side of the case was crushed in and several of the boxes were crushed as well. Since the shiiping box was undamaged, it can't be UPS' fault... the case was damaged before they boxed it up and sent it to me.

Doesn't look like the rounds were damaged, though... still, it would seem to me that maybe someone should have contacted me first and said something like "we have only a single case left and it's been crushed, do you still want it?" or something...

I'm sorry, but why would you care? I honestly could care less what my cardboard ammo boxes look like as long as the ammo inside is good to go. Do you put your ammo on display or something? Just sayin.

I guess it depends on how crushed you're talking, too. You talking hi-lo ran it over or someone dropped it pretty good?

While I do not blame you for not being happy with some crushed boxes I would bet if they emailed you they were cancelling your order because they didn't think you would accept the crushed boxes, well, I am sure you would have felt different and you can bet there would be a line to take 1200 rounds loose at the price they sold for.
Still, we would all prefer they came as expected

I got a few cases of M193 and 1 case of M855 before the price change.

I decided to put the M855 in a 50 cal can for long term storage. I think it will be the one can of 5.56 I never touch unless something crazy happens.
Its loose now, but thinking of putting it on strippers in bandoliers, although there a bit expensive.

I really hope we see it again for a competitive price. At least every few years.
