Hello everybody.
I had a day off from work and I spent a good day at the range. I bought 1k Barnaul made 62gr polymer cased ammo and I chronoed 15 shots to get the rough picture from the muzzle velocity of the round. I'd like to share this info with you. The rig: - S&W MP15I with .223 chamber, 17" barrel and 1/9" twist (plus all the addition gear & stuff). 
The ammo: 
LOT: C 12 2010 - 07 - Barnaul made - Polymer coated case - 62gr bimetal bullet, lenght 21.6mm or 0.849" - BC 0.265 (JBM ballistics) - Powder charge 1.43g or 22.83gr 
Chronograph: Shooting Chrony M-1 Temperature: +5 Celsius (+41 Fahrenheit) Velocities V3 (3 meters, about 10 feet) 1. 889 m/s (2917 ft/s) 2. 882 m/s 3. 895 m/s 4. 895 m/s 5. 881 m/s 6. 890 m/s 7. 895 m/s 8. 896 m/s 9. 894 m/s 10. 882 m/s 11. 902 m/s 12. 884 m/s 13. 896 m/s 14. 888 m/s 15. 886 m/s Lowest: 881 m/s (2890 ft/s) Average: 890 m/s (2920 ft/s) Highest: 902 m/s (2959 ft/s) Enjoy!
