Just finishing up my build and now looking for some ammo. Would love to just shoot 5.56 but anything good will work. Cheaper the better but i dont want tula/wolf stuff. what is everyone running for plinking purposes?

silver bear/ wpa/ cheap fed 55gr, but that's mostly gone now
if its just for plinking, then you are really limiting yourself when you exclude wolf, tula I can understand but the barnal stuff will go bang just fine

Look for some PMC bronze. Good shit with a cheap price....even the green tip 62gr stuff isn't half bad.

Plinking: Wolf, AE223, PMC and whatever cheap brass ammo i can find.

I have heard brown bear as cheap as it is, is good plinking ammo.
