I was about to order two cases of IMI from Widener's, and of course we know what happened there.
How is BVAC? I found a 2000 round bulk pack of .223 55gr remanufactured for $564, shipped, so - $0.28/rd. Not bad if it's reliable and decently accurate. Additionally, anyone have experience using this brass for reloading? Thoughts on BVAC? |

Additionally, anyone have experience using this brass for reloading? Thoughts on BVAC? BVAC is a little bit dirty, pistol or rifle ammo but it's good. Brass is fine for reloading. I think that all their ammo is once reloaded brass if I remember correctly, but the brass I've had has never had any issues. BVAC is just as good as IMI ammo and brass. |

They use both new and once fired brass. The are usually very clear as to when it's made with new brass. 'New's stamped on their bulk value packs, or printed on labels or in the box. labels. Their .308 and .50 BMG is usually labled either way, and most all of their other ammo is new. Not a lot of bulk .243 or 45-70 brass around. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
| I've used several thousands of rds of their 45 ACP and about 1K of the 223. I just bought another 500 rds of re-manufactured 223 55grn FMJ for $134.00 + tax last weekend. I have used both new and re-manufactured and haven't ever had any trouble with either one. Their ammo is always consistent from one rnd to the next. You don't get a strong load and then a weak load, very consistent. Besides you can get them for great prices!! |
