There used to be a place selling the 30 cal sabots that you could use a 5.56 AP bullet in and make your own.

I would think SLAP rounds were restricted.
Even a quick web search brings up a number sites showing some for sale.

There is a couple of states that has a ban on them, but ok to shoot or collect in the others. Just don't use them in a pistol during a crime! Check the online gun auction sites sometimes they come up for sale. Expect to pay $20 -$25 each. wolfgang
