Looking for the 'right' ammo for the job...

I've got a few 3/8" MILA46100 grade targets and was wondering what the 'right' ammo would be for these...  Will my XM855 go through or severely bulge the plates at 100 yards?  Would XM193 or some .223 be a better choice?

I doubt you're going to penetrate that stuff with anything in .223 short of M995 - and maybe not even that.
