I bought two boxes of this stuff last year. They came 50 rounds to the box. I've had nothing but problems with it, I have a DSA built FAL that I was running it through and it would fail to eject almost every time. I thought it was the gun at first so i turned up the gas, and it still failed to eject, so I tested it against some Winchester .308 and some Silver Bear. Both the Silver bear and the Win. cycled fine in the gun. So I offered the box to my buddy for his Ruger bolt gun. He fired two rounds and both times it locked his bolt up solid after firing. He gave me the box back saying he didn't want it either. I have 30 some rounds left of it and as far as I'm concerned, it's crap.
I sent an email to Magtech telling them about my problems and got a response that my email had been forwarded to the tech guys for them to review and that's the last I heard about the matter. Never heard anything else about it from them, so I won't be buying any of their ammo again. |
| I have had nothing but problems with it as well, would not cycle through my M1A. I have ran many different brands of .308 through this rifle and never had a single problem before. Might be ok in a bolt gun, but didn't seem to be loaded hot enough to cycle in a semi-auto. Could've just been a bad batch I guess, but I won't be buying it again |
