I'm not expert and I'm sure someone that will come along soon enough that is, but is your barrel in 556 or just 223.  If it only shows 223 then I wouldn't use the 556, from my understanding they are a little hotter than 223.  Also from my understanding with 1/7 you can handle the heavier shit so 62gr..... but again someone that knows what he is talking about will probably say different

1/7 will shoot "anything" (i.e. normal 223/556 bullet weights).

As you go slower (1/8+) heavier bullets become less stable; slower twists favor shorter (lighter) bullets.

The 62g won't group as tight since it's a "penetrator" round. It you were doing 55g FMJ and 62 FMJ different story.

Just stay away from the extremes. Nothing really light 40gr, 45gr in the 1-7 and nothing really heavy 75gr in the 1-9. I even have 2 SPR's in 1-9 that shoot the Sierra 69 OTM's very well, but i would not go higher as some of molons testing even brings these into question. I shoot all sorts of 55gr in my 1-7's no problem.
