The lead-free bullet with nickel plating kinda turned me off from the Mod-1 and I invested a but into the Mod-0 when it was available. I don't shoot it much since 100 yards groups with the Mod-0 depress me. Remember when moly coated bullets were a thing? Probably doing about the same since its probably more lubricious than regular copper jackets. Nickel is significantly less reactive to solvents than copper so I can't imagine the difficulty to clean that stuff out of my bore or how nickel fouling would interact when switching back and fourth to copper jacketed bullets. |
