Make ammo with silver colored primers?
I ask because i bought 500 once used brass casing and 200 of them have silver primers. Most are LC06 and 07 cases and some are AD and FC. |

Thanks for the responses. There is a mix of LC 07 that has silver and gold primers. I was wondering because i have been able to easily prime LC brass without completely getting rid of the crimp. Well i guess I spend 15 minutes sorting the silver gold primer brass for nothing!! ts not just LC, there is FC, AD, and other brass with crimps and silver primers. |

You WON'T be able to do that on this brass! This brass is probably crimped by federal... and not on the LC mil production line. Report back when you see how tough the crimp on this brass is. (also... I've found that this brass hasn't needed trimming... unlike military brass.) |

Isnt LC military brass?? Yep. But the ammo they often make out of it isn't Military ammo. For example.. Federal .223 American Eagle, and Federal T1 Bonded have both been loaded in LC brass. The T1 bonded is loaded in nickel plated LC Blingy brass. Federal apparently tapped the LC brass supply for civilian loads. |
