| i know this is a stupid question, but i had been buying 50 gr. american eagle .223 ammo, but now i can't find it anywhere and i just bought a scope, so what are the pros and cons of 62 vs. 55 |

What twist barrel? A LOT of factors contribute to what "benefits" or lack there of you may or may not receive. I suggest reading and then going back and reading some more.

It depends on your rifle. My RRA carbine (1:9) is alot more accurate with 62 to 75gr ammo. I determined this by shooting a shitload of different brands and weights. Your rifle might do well with 55gr. Mine doesn't. You just need to try a variety to determine what it shoots well.
