Unfortunately so is the Magnum Research rifles.  I owned BOTH and had it happen on both rifles.  The Remington I sent back last year luckily and got all my money back.  The Magnum Research is going back.  It is sad as they both were extremely accurate rifles and a lot of fun to shoot, but no matter how clean you keep them they still can blow up when firing.  I have given up on the round in a semi.  Personally I think CCI changed the powder formulation or amount and this causes the round to eject before the bullet is out of the barrel blowing out the rim.

Any reports of this producing the same problem in the Volquartsen .17 semi rifles like the fusion?
